Owner
Patrick brings decades of anesthesia experience to Psych North, including leadership at Bailey Anesthesia and 16 years as an independent nurse anesthetist at Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet, MN. His background also includes roles at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Mercy and Coon Rapids Hospitals in the Twin Cities, and service as a Navy Reserve Hospital Corpsman.
Patrick holds a Master of Science in Anesthesia from the Minneapolis School of Anesthesia and St. Mary’s University. When he’s not at work, Patrick enjoys golfing, fishing, fitness, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Natalie’s mission is to help individuals heal from the root—guiding them toward a better quality of life when traditional therapies have fallen short. She believes deeply in empowering people to help themselves by providing the tools, coaching, and compassionate support needed to make meaningful, lasting change. She brings extensive anesthesia experience from Mayo Clinic, Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center, and Aspirus/Pavilion Surgery Center, as well as specialized training in psychiatric care. Natalie previously served on the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, and Practitioners (ASKP3) Advisory Board, contributing to national standards in ketamine-assisted care. Natalie holds a Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from Mayo Clinic and a Post-Master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from The College of St. Scholastica. Her career reflects a commitment to integrative, innovative mental-health care that treats the whole person—not just the symptoms. She is deeply passionate about the evolving future of psychedelic medicine and its potential to transform the landscape of mental health care. Outside of work, Natalie enjoys trail biking, yoga, golf, and soaking up the Northern Minnesota summers with her husband and two children.

Dr. Varma has worked in mental health since 1993, specializing in psychiatric consultation and medication management for adults, children, adolescents, and geriatric patients from diverse cultural backgrounds. He is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, an honor recognizing his dedication to the profession.
Currently affiliated with Psy-Fi TMS Clinic in Edina, MN, Dr. Varma provides tailored treatment plans using both pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches. His services include pharmacogenomic testing, Alpha-Stim and Myndlift neurofeedback, supplements for psychiatric conditions, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), vagus nerve stimulation (VNS), and nasal ketamine for treatment-resistant depression.
Dr. Varma earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India, completed a fellowship in mood disorders at the University of British Columbia, and finished his psychiatry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
