Feeling better is possible. Learn more about what you can expect as a Psych North patient.

New Patients

Taking the first step towards healing can feel like a big leap—but you don’t have to take it alone. At Psych North, we ensure you feel informed, supported, and cared for from the very beginning. Following a simple, clear, and collaborative approach, we start with a phone consultation to learn your story, discuss your needs, and see if our treatments are a good match.

We believe in shared decision-making, so you’ll always have an understanding of your care plan. If you have a psychiatric provider, we’ll collaborate closely with them; if not, we’ll help connect you to trusted options for ongoing support. 1

Initial Assessment

Every patient who receives treatment billed through insurance, including current and long-term patients, must complete an initial video or in-person assessment and periodic follow-ups with one of Psych North’s providers, even if you have an external referral from your provider. During this time, we’ll listen to your story, learn about your challenges, and explore your goals for treatment to get a clear picture of your needs and how Psych North can best support you.

2

Personalized Treatment Plan

No two people are the same, and neither are their paths to healing. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs, preferences, and goals.

3

Ongoing Guidance + Support

Healing is an ongoing process, and we’ll be with you every step of the way. Whether you need regular follow-up appointments or tools, resources, and encouragement, our team is committed to helping you make steady, meaningful progress toward long-term healing and well-being.
